Wednesday 13th July saw the London Jazz Café buzzing with excited fans as the came out for the first ever WurlD concert and we were there to witness it.
Doors opened at 7pm and the crowd controller ‘Hakka Da Great’ had the crowd hyped as they waited for the star of the night. The night was opened by singer/songwriter Kkeda who sang 2 songs and then as WurlD wearing an all-white 2-piece was introduced onto the stage, the excitement increased by another 100 percent.
As he started off the night with ‘Ghost Town’ we knew we were in for a treat. From performing an all-time favourite of many ‘Show You Off’, to ‘Sweet in the Middle’ to ‘Mad’ and songs off his new album ‘My WurlD With U’ it was truly a night to remember.
Considering this was his first concert in the UK, his stage performance as he carried the crowd along who were singing every song word for word was in our opinion priceless.
We can safely say that we want another WurlD concert soon!
