‘Asake’ brought the ‘Vibe’ to the 02

On Sunday, August 20th, anticipation finally culminated as Asake's sold-out concert took center stage at the iconic O2 Arena, generating significant buzz across social media platforms.

Making a grand entrance by helicopter, the renowned Nigerian artist, affectionately known as Mr. Money, commenced the show by honoring the memory of the two individuals who tragically lost their lives during his 2022 concert at the O2 Brixton Academy. This heartfelt gesture showcased his thoughtfulness.

Thrilling the audience with a medley of his chart-topping tracks, Asake seamlessly integrated various celebrities into his performance. Joining him on stage were Fireboy DML, Fridayy, Tunde Baiyewu of Lighthouse Family, Spinall, Tiwa Savage, and the legendary OG himself, Olamide graced the stage alongside him.

Asake's remarkable creativity throughout the show overshadowed any lingering concerns about its delayed start (which, as we've come to learn, was beyond his control) and sound-related issues. The highlight came when he shared the stage with Olamide, performing  'Amapiano' and 'Omo Ope'. An unforgettable performance that left the crowd wanting more.

Anticipation now shifts to what the future holds for Asake. In the interim, fans can continue immersing themselves in his masterful 'Work Of Art' album.
