Oxlade From Africa Tour 2024.

'Oxlade' is a phenomenal Afrobeats/Afro-Fusion singer and songwriter.
Oxlade rose to fame with the release of the song "Away", produced by Nigerian producer, Spax, back in 2020, taken from the EP, Oxygene. The song also appeared on Rolling Stone's 50 best songs of 2020 and one of Spotify’s most streamed songs of 2021.

Oxlade is now back and headlining his first world tour in 2024. This is a huge accomplishment for him and a long way from his humble beginnings in Nigeria.

Oxlade found worldwide success in 2022, when his song “Ku Lo Sa” became a global smash and went viral. Oxlade was named Pandora Africa's Next Artist in July 2022 and quickly elevated him to a higher status musically as well as an artist amongst his peers. He finally caught everyone’s attention.

Fast forward to December 2024, Oxlade’s debut album, OFA (Oxlade From Africa) is blowing up everywhere and kicks off the United Kingdom leg of his European tour in London and Birmingham.
On Thursday 12th December 2024, Oxlade headlined his first major show at the critically acclaimed Electric Brixton, South London and on Saturday 14th December 2024, at the O2 Institute2 m, Birmingham. With Special guests, UK’s Rebecca Winter, DJ Pablo and P Montana.

I attended the show in London on 12th December and really enjoyed it. Oxlade shuts down his haters who had so much to say about his live singing with an amazing live performance. Oxlade gave us a live band, live singing with great breath control while dancing and live entertainment.
I was very much impressed with his live singing and abilities to hold a good note. His great energy and vibez spread like wildfire across the room. You just know a real singer and performer by their live performances and he did an amazing job. I would definitely attend his show again.

His song list gave the past, the present and the future. I think this was important as it helped expose his old music to his newer fans, especially within the last two years. I know it definitely helped me for sure because I did not know he had that many songs, I was genuinely shocked. When I got home I immediately researched his old music and listened to all three albums/EP. You should definitely go check them out too.

Oxlade performed music from his two Extended Play projects, Oxygene & Eclipse and his current release, OFA, The Album. Performing songs, such as and in no particular order: Intoxycated, Blessed, Ku Lo Sa, OVAMI, IFA, Piano, Ololufe, Away, Hold Your Waist, O2, Pay Me, Ojuju and more.

Oxlade has a large young audience ranging from 16 years and up, but he can also draw an older crowd and keep everyone happy and entertained and wanting more.

Overall, I rate the night 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 for his live singing, performance, entertainment and his consistent connection with the audience.
